Meet Woody and Theodore, these two good looking ducks were Vogue’s entries for the Daffodil Duck Race at Huatoki Plaza on Sunday, 27th August. This duck race was a for the Cancer Society of NZ Taranaki Centre Inc.

It was a tough race, but Theodore did come 3rd in race 3!.  Theodore got stuck at the start but recovered and finished the race on his side! Woody was quick off the mark, but unfortunately got stuck in a whirlpool and was last around the bend, but he recovered and managed to catch up to the pack, finishing somewhere in the middle of race 1. So overall not bad for our first duck race!

There were some tough duck competitors, some with amazing outfits with no.28 winning the best dressed duck. Theodore was proudly dressed by the team at Future Grafix and Woody duck was painted by RE Automotive - thanks for your expertise teams!

It was a fabulous afternoon and we all had a lot of fun, we would like to thank the organisers for such a wonderful community event and would love to take part again next year.
