A cleverly designed, bespoke kitchen table and rangehood are not the only things that make this Vogue kitchen stand out. Ingeniously disguised behind large pantry-type doors adjacent to the oven, lies a completely new room – the scullery. Lined with oodles of cupboard and stainless steel bench space, this is the place where all the ‘messy’ kitchen work and appliances can be hidden, closed away from guests being entertained in the main, ‘clean’ kitchen.
Other Vogue innovations in this house include a double-sided wood box beside the fireplace which connects the inside with outside. This allows for firewood to be loaded into the box on the outside and conveniently accessed from the inside when needed. When not in use, it’s an attractive seat.
Vogue has provided storage throughout the home, including designing the walk-in master wardrobe, which has a built-in ironing board that can be conveniently tucked away from sight and a laundry chute connecting the upstairs wardrobe with the laundry below.
